Fleet Management
Situated at West Bromwich, Arrow's fleet of vacuum tankers, which range from 3000 gallon to 6000 gallon in capacity, and tautliners, are ideally located near to the motorway network. The vehicles, which travel the length and breadth of this country as well as in Europe, are all maintained to the highest standard. All our drivers are ADR trained, to City & Guilds standard, to transport dangerous goods in bulk or drums, safely. Each vehicle is fitted with satellite tracking for ease of planning and quick response.
Waste Carriers
Under regulation 4 of the Controlled Waste (Registration of Carriers and Seizure of Vehicles) Regulations 1991, anyone collecting or arranging the transporting and / or disposal of waste, with certain exceptions, must be registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier and Broker. Arrow are registered with the Environment Agency as waste carriers & brokers. Licence No. BWE/851469/CB.
The Service
Having obtained a representative sample, Arrow will assist the producer in determining the most practical and cost effective option when dealing with their waste.
When making a collection, Arrow will supply documentation to ensure that the producer meets their responsibility under section 34 of The Environmental Protection (Duty of Care) Act 1991. If the waste is deemed to be hazardous, Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes can be also supplied and completed to ensure that the producer meets their responsibility under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005.
Alternatively, the producer can raise the documentation for Arrow to transport the waste or product by tautliner or tanker to a destination of their choice.
